Hey, Im Art.

Yes, thats my real name.

I started making beats in 2001 for a simple reason: I wanted to see if I could. It was competition, nothing more. People noticed, so I kept going, and somewhere along the way the beats stopped being about proving anything. They started being about feeling something. Then the studio happened. I showed up for a production internship and found out it was audio engineering. I was told that if I wanted to make my own music, I needed to learn to mix it. Then I sat down at a Digidesign Pro Control board, recorded an artist for the first time, and knew. That was the moment I stopped making music for myself and started helping other people sound like themselves.Years later, that’s still what I’m doing. I’ll sit with a song for hours, whether it was recorded in a pro studio or a bedroom, until it sounds the way it feels. I produce, mix, record and clean up audio, and I do it best for artists who care about what they’re making. That’s what Heart N Soul is. Not just audio. Your sound, taken care of.
